The Director, Infrastructure Advisory is a senior leadership role at the centre of the State’s long‑term infrastructure agenda. Working alongside the Executive Director, you will lead the team responsible for providing independent, system‑wide advice to Government on the infrastructure decisions that shape South Australia’s future.
As the Director, Infrastructure Advisory, you will play a central role in shaping and guiding the State’s long‑term infrastructure agenda by:
- Leading major advisory projects by shaping project scope, overseeing delivery, coordinating engagement across government and stakeholders, and ensuring all outputs are high‑quality, evidence‑based and strategically aligned.
- Driving the evolution of the State’s long‑term planning frameworks, including the 20‑Year State Infrastructure Strategy and the Capital Intentions Statement, working closely with the Executive Director, CEO and ISA Leadership to refine priorities and strengthen strategic direction.
- Building the analytical capability of the Infrastructure Advisory team by improving methodologies, enhancing data use, and strengthening the evidence base that underpins long‑term infrastructure planning and system‑wide advice.
- Preparing and presenting independent, authoritative advice to the Infrastructure SA Board, Ministers and Cabinet on emerging issues, risks, and strategic opportunities that influence the State’s infrastructure investment decisions.
- Cultivating trusted relationships across government and industry, including State and Commonwealth agencies, local government, national infrastructure bodies and key external stakeholders, to support whole‑of‑government decision‑making.
- Representing Infrastructure SA in sector forums, championing innovation, best practice and continuous improvement in infrastructure planning, prioritisation and delivery.
