Role Details

The Events Coordinator supports end to end delivery of events for Multicultural Affairs within the Department of the Premier and Cabinet. This includes planning and executing a wide range of in person and online events such as festivals, awards and community engagements while assisting with communications, social media, and media activities to promote and enhance these initiatives.

Special Conditions

  • The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
  • The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
  • Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
  • This role requires a National Criminal History check.

Multicultural Affairs advises the South Australian Government on the development of policies that promote cultural diversity and all matters relating to multicultural affairs in South Australia. The Multicultural Affairs team is also responsible for the administration and delivery of multicultural grant programs, events, awards, community forums, support programs and resources, which contribute to the government's commitment to supporting our diverse and vibrant multicultural community.
