Role Details
The Senior Protocol Officer is responsible for the development and provision of official protocol events, functions and projects. The role is pivotal in the effective management and delivery of programs, events and projects that support the Government’s economic and social priorities.
Special Conditions
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some work outside of normal hours will be required including on weekends.
- Possible intrastate travel may be required.
- This role requires a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History check.

About the Business
The Diplomatic Relations and Protocol team plans and delivers state events on behalf of the Premier and manages and facilitates inbound and outbound international and diplomatic missions. The team ensures all state protocols are applied effectively.
