How do I apply for a vacancy?

All our current vacancies are advertised on our Careers page and I Work for SA , the South Australian Government Jobs Board. If you find a role that you are interested in, simply click 'Apply'. You'll be asked some questions including personal details that are relevant to the particular role you are applying for. Don't forget to have your CV and a cover letter ready as you'll need these to apply for the role.

How do I apply for a graduate or trainee role at DPC?

A traineeship or graduate placement with the Department of the Premier and Cabinet is a great way to get a head start in a career in the public service.

Traineeship and graduate opportunities are published on our Careers page and I Work for SA, the South Australian Government Jobs Board.

Through the program, our trainees and graduates are involved in a variety of tasks within the department and have the opportunity to study, learn new skills and network across the public service.

Trainees who successfully complete the program take away a nationally recognised Certificate III qualification and graduates will begin their career with a nationally recognised skill set.

We regularly post new vacancies and remove vacancies that have closed. If a role isn't up on our site, then we're not taking applications for it at this time – sorry!

How do I determine the status of my application?

You will receive updates on the status of your application throughout the selection process. If you require additional updates, please contact the enquiries person listed in the vacancy advertisement.

Does DPC accommodate and support people with disabilities?
