Role Details

The Senior Management Accountant provides high quality financial and management accounting services to the business units of the Department.

A talent pool will also be established for future vacancies.

Special Conditions

  • The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
  • The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
  • Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
  • This role requires a National Criminal History check.

Essential Qualification

  • A degree in commerce, accounting, finance or economics, majoring in accounting.

About the Business

The Finance and Procurement team provides high quality financial and procurement services to Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC) business units and attached offices. Our Finance team provides services including corporate reporting, management accounting and strategic financial management. Our Procurement team provides procurement and contracting advice and support to DPC staff at all stages during the procurement and contract management life-cycle.
