Role Details
The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator will coordinate contractors to ensure timely, high-quality maintenance across state owned venues. While hands-on work will be limited to minor tasks, the role will oversee reactive and scheduled maintenance, ensuring compliance, safety, and minimal disruption to operations.
The role is guided by the Asset Management Officer and Venue Operations Team to maintain functionality of venues, mitigate risks, and support long term asset sustainability.
Strong communication and organisational skills are essential to ensure works are delivered efficiently and to standard, keeping venues safe, operational, and fit for purpose. The role is critical in aligning maintenance delivery with operational needs and service expectations.
Special Conditions
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the Agency's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
- This role requires a working with children check.
Essential
- Current driver's licence.
Desirable
- Tertiary qualification in property management, business administration or other relevant field.

About the Department
The Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing (ORSR) is the lead agency for the Government’s policy on sport and active recreation. ORSR is responsible for State Government policy and legislation as it relates to the sector, its key programs, sport and recreation infrastructure and funding programs. The ORSR supports sport and recreation organisations, Councils and the community through the development of policy, programs and resources, the provision of funding, recreation and sport planning, infrastructure development, elite sport pathways and programs, and the promotion of physical activity.
About the Business
The Infrastructure and Planning division provides a strategic and integrated approach towards the development and delivery of recreation and sport infrastructure and works to build diversity, strength, capacity and sustainability with industry clients and the community. The division is responsible for a number of the State’s key sporting assets, including major sporting venues such as Adelaide Super-Drome and SA Athletics Stadium. It undertakes development planning, construction, project management, facilities management, and recreation trails development and management.
