Role Details
- Supporting the Senior Parliamentary and Cabinet Officer to coordinate briefings for the department’s involvement in Estimates Committee, Auditor-General s Report Examination, Budget and Finance Committee and general Parliamentary sitting days for all Ministerial portfolios supported by the Department of the Premier and Cabinet.
- Recording, monitoring, and providing administrative assistance and support to selected client agencies relating to Parliamentary issues (Questions on Notice, Questions Without Notice, Estimates Committees etc) for the Premier and those Ministers who have a direct reporting relationship with DPC.
- Coordinating responses to Questions Taken Without Notice for Ministerial portfolios supported by the Department of the Premier and Cabinet.
- Contributing to continuous improvement processes across all briefing coordination programs of DPC, the Premier and responsible Ministers including Estimates Committee, Auditor- General s Report Examination Hearings and Budget and Finance Committee and general Parliamentary sitting days.
- Provide high quality customer service to clients from within and external to the agency including appropriately managing sensitive and confidential information and working collaboratively with the team to accommodate changing priorities.
Special Conditions
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
- This role requires a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History check.
