Role Details
The Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC) is establishing an Administrative Officer talent pool to support the filling of both current and future vacancies across a wide range of business areas. These roles may be offered on a short-term or long-term basis and will draw on diverse skillsets and expertise that contribute to delivering the government’s vision for a thriving South Australia.
Candidates included in the Administrative Officer pool may be offered employment opportunities in roles that contribute to a wide range of functions including executive support, project coordination, policy administration, records and data management, and stakeholder engagement.
We are looking for candidates with a passion for public service and strong administrative capabilities. Potential roles may include:
Administration Officers, Receptionists, Records and Correspondence Officers, Project Support Officers, Executive Assistants, Business Support Officers, Corporate Service Officers, Senior Project Officers, and Office Managers
Whether you're just beginning your career in administration or have years of experience, we encourage you to apply. No prior government experience is needed.
Special Conditions
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Available roles may be either at the ASO3 ($67,589 - $72,033), ASO4 ($76,561 - $80,256) or ASO5 ($85,790 - $95,413) classification level.
- Applicants will be required to undergo the appropriate and relevant Employment Screening Assessment(s) prior to appointment.
