Role Details

The Food and Beverage Attendant / Barista is responsible for preparing and providing food and beverage services at ORSR facilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintaining a high level of customer service. The main tasks associated with the role will be basic food preparation, operating the coffee machine, serving customers, restocking fridges and maintaining good cleanliness and hygiene.

Special Conditions

  • The Incumbent will be required to participate in the Agency's Performance Management Program.
  • The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
  • Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
  • This role requires a working with children check.

The Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing (ORSR) is the lead South Australian Government agency for sport, active recreation and racing. ORSR supports sport and recreation organisations, local government, and the community by providing leadership and support through the development and delivery of funding, policy, programs, infrastructure planning and management, and high-performance pathways.

About the Business

The Infrastructure and Planning division provides a strategic and integrated approach towards the development and delivery of recreation and sport infrastructure and works to build diversity, strength, capacity and sustainability with industry clients and the community. The division is responsible for a number of the State's key sporting assets, including major sporting venues such as the South Australian Sports Institute, Netball SA Stadium, SA Athletics Stadium and Adelaide Super-Drome. Our team undertakes development planning, construction, project management, facilities management, and recreation trails development and management.
