Role Details

The Team Leader, Food and Beverage leads a team responsible for the effective food and beverage operational management at the SA Athletics Stadium, Netball SA Stadium and South Australian Sports Institute. This position is responsible for the effective planning and delivery of the food and beverage offerings across ORSR venues. This involves maintaining a clear planning, delivery and reporting structure, optimising revenue opportunities, implementing procurement processes, contract supplier management, and engagement with a range of stakeholders, government, not for profit and commercial. To achieve this, the role has line management of a team made up of full-time, part-time and casual staff.

Special Conditions

  • The Incumbent will be required to participate in the Agency's Performance Management Program.
  • The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
  • Some work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, will be required.
  • This role requires a working with children check.

The Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing (ORSR) is the lead South Australian Government agency for sport, active recreation and racing. ORSR supports sport and recreation organisations, local government, and the community by providing leadership and support through the development and delivery of funding, policy, programs, infrastructure planning and management, and high-performance pathways.

About the Business

The Infrastructure and Planning division provides a strategic and integrated approach towards the development and delivery of recreation and sport infrastructure and works to build diversity, strength, capacity and sustainability with industry clients and the community. The division is responsible for a number of the State's key sporting assets, including major sporting venues such as the South Australian Sports Institute, Netball SA Stadium, SA Athletics Stadium and Adelaide Super-Drome. Our team undertakes development planning, construction, project management, facilities management, and recreation trails development and management.
