Role Details
The Senior Archivist will work on continuous improvement, applying specialist knowledge of metadata, archival arrangement and description and developing, testing and implementing new technical solutions to support discovery and use in accordance with the Library’s Collections Policy framework.
Special Conditions
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- This role requires a National Criminal History check.
- Required to work on service delivery points.
Essential Qualifications
- Eligible for Professional Membership of the Australian Library and Information Association or a degree in Information
Management or Archives Administration, or a degree majoring in history, politics, anthropology, law or commerce, or another degree and
eligible for professional membership of the Australian Society of Archivists.
